1. Tickets and registrations
Each organiser sets the refund policy for their event, course, tour or appointment. It is shown on the page and at checkout before you pay. Policies are one of:
- No refunds — tickets can’t be cancelled for a refund.
- Cancel until a deadline — cancel from your ticket page up to the time shown (for example, 48 hours before the start) and the refund is processed automatically. A cancellation charge may apply if the policy says so.
- On request — ask for a refund from your ticket page; the organiser approves or declines it.
The convenience fee charged at checkout is not refundable, except where the organiser cancels the event or the law requires it.
2. If the organiser cancels
If an event is cancelled by the organiser, every attendee is refunded the ticket price automatically — you don’t need to ask. If an event is postponed, the organiser will tell you the new date and how to request a refund if you can’t attend.
3. Failed payments
If money is deducted but your registration isn’t confirmed — for example, because seats ran out while you were paying — the payment is refunded automatically.
4. When you’ll get your money
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Once processed, they usually reach you in 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer. You can follow the status on your ticket page.
5. For organisers
- Refunds you approve, and refunds for events you cancel, are deducted from your KwikUp wallet.
- By default, the managed platform commission on a refunded amount is returned to you; the checkout convenience fee is not.
- Subscription plans and wallet top-ups are non-refundable once used, except where required by law. Contact us within 7 days if you were charged in error.
6. Need help?
First contact the organiser using the details on the event page. If you can’t reach them or a refund is late, contact us at support@kwikup.in or on WhatsApp at +91 95745 10371 with your ticket number. See also our Terms of Service.
